Well, "sparrows fart" ended up being 10 am after we raced around like headless chooks doing all those things we'd missed and and trying to find places to stow "essential" items like the kitchen sink, in the 5th Wheeler! We both regretted those wines at Paparazzi with some of our wonderful friends - ooohh my aching head!
After dropping the Falcon at my daughter's place in the Swan Valley we turned on to the Great Northern Highway and felt that we were REALLY on our way.
Arrived in Geraldton around 5pm and parked up at the Batavia Coast Caravan Park http://www.bataviacoastcp.com.au/ - very nice park with clean amenities, a pool and pet friendly to boot. Temperature in Geraldton had been 39C but a lovely sea breeze cooled the place nicely for our arrival
